Connecting external devices

Connecting the C-330 to audio
equipment
By connecting the C-330 to an audio system or to amplified
speakers, you can play the C-330's sounds through the speakers of a
stereo set or other external speakers. You can also record your
performance into an MP3 recorder or other recording device.
To make connections, use audio cables with phone plugs, such
as the PCS-100PW (sold separately).

Connecting external speakers to the C-330

Input (Line In) connector
1.
Minimize the volume of the C-330 and of your speakers.
2.
Switch off the power to the C-330 and your speakers.
3.
Use commercially available audio cables to make
connections.
4.
Switch on the C-330's power.
5.
Switch on the power to the speakers.
6.
Adjust the volume of the C-330 and your speakers.
When you play the C-330's keyboard, the sound will be heard from
the C-330's own speakers as well as from the connected speakers.
To turn off the power
1.
Minimize the volume of the C-330 and of your speakers
2.
Switch off the power to your speakers.
3.
Switch off the C-330's power.

* When connection cables with resistors are used, the volume
level of equipment connected to the input jacks may be low. If
this happens, use connection cables that do not contain
resistors.
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other
devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power
on all devices before making any connections.
Playing the sounds of the MX-200 or an
audio device through the C-330
You can play the sounds of the MX-200 or another audio device
such as an MP3 player through the C-330.
1.
Minimize the volume of the C-330 and of the MX-200 or
your audio device.
2.
Switch off the power to the C-330 and the MX-200 or your
audio device.
3.
Use commercially available audio cables to make
connections.
4.
Switch on the power to the MX-200 or your audio device.
5.
Switch on the C-330's power.
6.
Adjust the volume of the C-330 and of the MX-200 or
your audio device.
The sound of the MX-200 or your audio device will be heard from
the C-330.
