Change the following settings as desired.
Indication
Explanation
Indicates the name of the MX-200's
sound.
Name
Selects the sound that you want to
play using the MX-200.
Specifies the volume of the sound
Volume
played on the MX-200.
Specifies the octave (pitch) of the

sound played on the MX-200.
Specifies the depth of reverb for the
Reverb
sound played on the MX-200.

Turn on the [USER/MIDI] tablet.
The C-330 will not transmit MIDI data unless a [USER/MIDI]
tablet is turned on.
Use the MX-200 in MX mode. Set the MX-200's "RECEIVE
GM20N" setting to "OFF."
For details on operating the MX-200, refer to the MX-200
owner's manual.
In the "USER/MIDI" screen, you can turn the [Value/Exit Menu]
knob as shown below to specify the [USER/MIDI] tablet whose
settings you're making.

Caution when connecting a MIDI sound module
other than the MX-200

"TONE NAME" settings
Name of

If you're using a device other than the MX-200 or a GM2 compatible
sound module, set the [TONE NAME] setting to [OFF] in the
procedure "Making the MX-200's sound names appear in the C-
0–127
330's display." In this case, the "USER/MIDI" screen will allow you to
specify the program number and the bank select MSB and LSB
-2–+2
parameters instead of the sound name. Use these parameters to
specify the desired sound on the MIDI sound module you're using.
