MIDI control connections

• This is an example of connecting this unit to a computer with DJ MIDI software installed, and operating this unit using MIDI control operations.
• Be sure to use the supplied USB cable for connection.
• If your computer OS is Windows, select "Utility" – "Preset Setting" – "PC/MAC" (vpage 42) – "PC".
If your computer OS is Mac, select "Utility" – "Preset Setting" – "PC/MAC" (vpage 42) – "MAC".
The default setting is "MAC".

DJ MIDI Software is not supplied with this unit.
When using a MIDI control connection, install separate DJ software on the computer. For details on the installation method, see the instruction
manual included with the DJ software.

Connecting the power cord

Connect the supplied power cord to this unit, and insert the plug into
the wall socket.
NOTE
• Do not plug in the power cord until all connections have been
completed.
• Insert the plug fully and securely into the socket. Incomplete
connection to the power supply may cause damage to the unit, or
noise.

To prevent the power plug from falling out, we recommend fixing the
power cord to the AC cord holder. Use a Phillips screwdriver to fix the
power cord to the AC cord holder.
