Hot list

When the track list (search screen) is being displayed, a selected track
can be temporarily registered to the music file list (hot list).
NOTE
When the unit power is switched off, all of the contents registered to
the created hot list are cleared.
n Registering to the hot list

to display the track you want to register.

HOT LIST ADD/REMOVE

"Add" is displayed, and the selected track is registered to the
hot list.
n Playing tracks registered to the hot list

The hot list is shown in the display.

to select the track you want to play.

The cue standby mode is set at the start of the selected tracks.
n Clearing tracks from the hot list

The hot list is shown in the display.

to select the track you want to clear.

The selected track is cleared.
n Sharing hot lists
When multiple DN-SC3900 units, are connected via a network, hot
lists can be shared between units.
For details, "Sharing hot list information" (vpage 32).

Auto BPM counter

During playback or cue standby, the tempo (BPM) of the track is
automatically measured and displayed.

n Auto BPM counter
Press and hold
TAP
• The auto BPM counter switches on, and the tempo (BPM) is
shown in the display.
• If the track changes when the BPM is locked, the lock is removed,
and the auto BPM counter switches on.
NOTE
Depending on the track, the automatic BPM measurement may not
be performed correctly. In this case, perform "TAP Input" or "Manual
BPM input", and measure manually.

Operations during playback
n BPM lock
This function locks data measured by the auto BPM counter.
When the auto BPM counter is on, press
"BPM LOCK" is shown in the display, and the data measured by the
auto BPM counter is locked.
n Measuring BPM manually

The tempo (BPM) is measured according to the interval between

Manual BPM Input
Enter the tempo (BPM) as a number.
