Possible Cause
1. Down draft
2. Chimney blocked
3. Chimney damper shut
4. Baffle out of position
5. New paint is curing
1. Low draw
2. Wet or decayed wood
3. Blocked intake air
1. Insert is being under fired
1. Too much draft in
chimney
Corrective Action
1. Upgrade chimney
2. Clean chimney
3. Open or remove damper
4. Correctly position baffle
5. Refer to instructions
1. Upgrade chimney
2. Use proper fuel
3. Check intake air supply by
removing fan from insert
and opening a window
1. Refer to instructions
1. Install manual damper in
chimney connector pipe.
