Use jars of the same size. The information in the table
refers to round one litre jars. Caution: do not use
larger or taller jars. The lid could explode.
The jars and rubber rings must be clean and
undamaged.
Only preserve undamaged fruit and vegetables.
Wash them thoroughly.
Place the fruit or vegetables in the jars.
Wipe the tops of the jars so that they are clean.
Place a damp rubber ring and a lid on each jar.
Close the jars with the clips.
Do not place more than six jars in the oven.
The times given in the tables are guidelines. They may
be influenced by the room temperature, the number
of jars and the volume and temperature of the content
of the jars.
1. Insert the universal pan at level 2.
2. Place the jars in the pan so that they are not
touching.
3. Pour half a litre of hot water (approximately 80 ºC)
into the universal pan.
4. Close the oven door.
5. Set the function selector to s bottom heating.
6. Set the temperature selector to 170 180 ºC.
