What to do, if ...

Problem
Digital Link Plus does not function
No stations or not all stations that are received
by antenna or cable are transferred to the video
recorder
The remote control is not operating
The remote control does not function with the
TV and DVD
When playing, there is a mix of sound from the
TV loudspeaker
A decoder connection does not function or is
faulty
All menus appear in the incorrect language
Automatic time and date settings are not
implemented.

Possible causes
a) The video recorder has not been registered as
a Digital Link Plus set
b) The video recorder has been connected to the
wrong AV socket on the TV set
c) The Euro AV is not fully connected (Pin 10 not
assigned)
All or some stations are stored at stations
positions ≥ 88 on the TV set
a) TV or DVD operation is selected
b) Digital Link switched on
Battery discharged or incorrectly fitted
Two-sound programme is recorded on the
videotape
a) Decoder is not connected to the AV2 socket of
the video recorder
b) Decoder is not registered in the video recorder
menu.
Menu language has been set incorrectly
a) For station position 1 a station has been stored
without time and date data, or no station is
stored
b) In the "Time and date " menu, menu item
"Autom. Setting." is set to "No"

Help
a) Enter Digital Link Plus in the menu or the
Connection Assistant
b) Attach Euro AV connection to correct socket
c) Replace Euro AV cable with a fully assigned
cable.
Sort stations on TV set in such a way, that those
received via antenna or cable are between 1
and 88.
a) Switch to VCR operation (no indicators on
the remote-control illuminated)
b) Point remote control to TV and select AV
socket for several video recorders.
Replace batteries or install correctly
Select the correct sound using the
the remote control.
a) Connect decoder to the AV2 socket
b) Register the decoder as shown in the
operating instructions, Page 21.
Set menu language, as described in the
operating instructions, Page 17.
a) Implement station setting (broadcasts), as
described on Page 8 – for Digital Link Plus
on the TV set. (For satellite stations via TV,
automatic time/date setting is not possible)
b) Set "Autom. setting" menu to "Yes", see
Page 17.
