Settings for the video recorder

Sort/delete

As mentioned in the introduction to this
section, you can only sort and delete stations
on the video recorder, if no Digital Link Plus TV
set or TV set with a comparable system from
another manufacturer is connected.

Manually set TV stations

Set stations manually if a new TV station can be
received, a missing station name is to be entered
or a station is to be fine-tuned. If the video
recorder is connected to a TV set with Digital
Link Plus or a comparable system, you can only
fine-tune the station. The other menu items
cannot be implemented. These settings can only
be carried out on the TV set
.

For channels E02 ... E12 and
E21 ... E69 select VHF/UHF. For
cable channels S01 ... S41
select "cable".

If you know the channel number of the station,
highlight "Channel" and enter the channel
number (two digits – e.g. 02 for channel 2) with
the numerical keys of the remote control.
If you don't know the channel number, highlight
"Search for station" and press the OK key to
start the search.
When you have found a new station, check the
station name, which is normally transferred with
the station. If no name is transferred:
Highlight "Station name"
Press the OK key to change. The
first character of the name has a
OK
flashing underline. Enter the first
character here; do not enter a
space.
Use arrow keys to select a letter
or a number.
Move to the next character of the
name...
... and again select a letter or
number (up to five characters).
When you have finished, press
OK
the OK key.
