Settings for the video recorder

Language

You may remember that you selected "your"
menu language when first installing the video
recorder. If the language has been inadvertently
changed by you or by another user, you must
re-select the language. To make it easier for you
to find the menu entry for "language" in a
foreign language, we have made it the last line
of the VCR menu.
Proceed as follows:

Special information

Under Special Information in the VCR menu you
will find details of the state of the video heads,
whether record protection is active or not, the
number of Timers, and the next Timer for
recording with the video recorder.

Time and date
In order to programme timer recordings
(including for ShowView) you require an
accurate time and the correct date.
You only need to enter time and date manually
if the station you are receiving transfers no
data or incorrect data, or the menu item
"Autom setting." in the "Time and Date" menu
is set to "No"
Proceed as follows:

Call up the VCR menu
Highlight the "time and date"
item
and call up with OK. The Time
OK
and Date menu will be
displayed.
Select "No" in the "Autom.
setting" item. The menu items
for time and date appear.
