Daily operation

Pause (still frame)/frame-by-frame advance

During play, you can switch to still frame. The
picture is subject to interference from the
system and has no sound. To prevent damage
to the video heads and the tape, the unit
switches back to play after five minutes.

Slow motion

You can start slow motion play directly with the

Reverse play

You can start reverse play directly using the
arrow key or switch to it during normal
playback. The picture is subject to interference
from the system and has no sound.

Picture search

During play you can switch to picture search
forward or back. The picture is subject to
interference from the system and has no sound.
This way, it is easy to search for the start of
recordings.

Status display

On play, record, fast forward and rewind and on
stop, when the function is switched on, the
status display appears briefly. You can also
open and close the status display with the E
key.

status display, see Page 21.

Stop play/eject cassette

All tape play functions can be stopped on the
video recorder, or by using the remote control.

Fast forward/rewind

You can select fast forward and rewind, when no
other play function is selected, or the video
recorder is in standby mode

Stop winding
When doing a fast rewind of a cassette you can
switch off using the O on/off key on the video
recorder or the remote control. When the
cassette has rewound, the video recorder
automatically switches to standby.

Memory stop at 000

You can set the counter to 000 at any point on
the tape, e.g. at the start of a new recording.

If the tape is rewound it stops at 000, if the
"Stop at 000" function in the "Settings" menu
is activated (see Page 20).
