Sending SMS (text messages)
Draft message list
You can save an SMS in the draft message
list, edit it later and send it.
Saving an SMS in the draft message list
¤ You are writing an SMS (¢ page 45).

Save Entry Select and press
Opening the outgoing list

The first list entry is displayed, for example:
Saved

If the entry has been saved with the phone
number, i.e., when the SMS was saved from
the incoming message list, the number is
displayed in the first line.
Reading or deleting SMS messages
¤ Open the draft message list and then:

Select SMS.

Press the display key. The text is
displayed. Scroll line by line
using q.
Or delete the SMS with

Writing/editing an SMS
¤ You are reading an SMS in the draft mes-
sage list.

Open menu.
You have the following options:
Copy
Send saved SMS.
Edit
Edit the text of the saved SMS and then
send (¢ page 45).
Character Set
Display text in the selected character set.
Deleting the draft message list
¤ Open the draft message list and then:

Sending SMS messages to an e-
mail address
If your service provider supports the SMS as
e-mail feature, you can also send your SMS
messages to e-mail addresses.
The e-mail address must be at the beginning
of the text. You must send the SMS to your
SMS service centre's e-mail service.

Copy the e-mail address from
the directory or enter it directly.
End the entry with a space or
colon (depending on the serv-
ice provider).

Enter the SMS text.

You can also send an SMS to a fax machine.
