Setting the Default Exposure Level

Specify the Exposure Modes to be activated by default.
Touch the [Auto Detect] or [Manual] box.

The default setting is [Auto Detect].

Setting Exposure Priority

Set the Copy Densities for the "Auto Exposure" and "Manual" Modes.
Under "Auto Detect" touch the [Lighter], [Normal] or [Darker] boxes.

The default setting is [Normal].
Under "Manual" touch the [Lighter], [Normal] or [Darker] boxes.

The default setting is [Normal].

Setting the Exposure Manually

Set the fine adjustment for the "Manual Exposure" Mode.
Touch the [Mode 1] box if you wish to maintain a broad grayscale in

your copies.
or
Touch the [Mode 2] box if you wish to maintain a balanced grayscale.
or
Touch the [Mode 3] box if you only wish to use a limited grayscale.
The default setting is [Mode 1].

Setting the Sort/Staple Priority

Specify the finishing to be activated by default.
Touch the box with the desired finishing function.
