Characteristics of activated SPORT
handling mode
If SPORT handling mode is activated and one
or more wheels start to spin, the ÷ ESP
warning lamp in the instrument cluster

flashes. ESP only stabilizes the vehicle to a
limited degree.
When SPORT handling mode is activated:

ESP only improves driving stability to a

limited degree.
traction control is still activated.

engine torque is only restricted to a limited

degree, and the drive wheels are able to
spin.
The spinning of the wheels results in a
cutting action for better traction on loose
surfaces.
