The HomePatrol‐1 presents a menu for Department
settings.
Edit Name – Lets you change the Department's name.
Edit Channel – Allows you to edit or add channels for the
Department.
Set Location – Lets you set the geographic boundaries for
the department. This is used for location‐based channel
selection.
Delete Department – Lets you delete the department.
Editing Channels
Select Edit Channel from the Department menu.
Create a new channel.
Name the Channel.
Select a Service Type for the Channel.
Set the Talk Group ID for the Channel.
Note: To enter the I‐Call Wildcard, enter i0 as the Talk
Group ID.
You will now see the Channel menu.
