Using The Valet Switch (cont’d) VALET mODES ALARm VALET mODE, while active, completely disables all security functions. Keyless entry and remote start are still operable. To enter valet mode, perform the following steps: STEP 1 - Disarm the system either with the controller or by performing an emergency override (make sure not to hold the brake pedal) STEP 2 - Press and hold the valet switch (located in the window-mount antenna) for 2 seconds.
The Status Light The status lights, located in the window-mount antenna, provide a visual indication of the system’s status via GREEN (remote start status) and RED (alarm status) lights.
