The "Control" and the "Settings" folders
Both of these system folders contains a few bookmarks. Each of these bookmarks
contains menus from where you can make different settings.
The system folders can not be deleted.
The manual will now explain the different settings you can perform from the Con-
trol and Settings folders, starting with the bookmarks from the Control folder.
Control

User pref

Banner time-out
When you switch channels, an information banner will be shown for a few seconds.
You can select how long the banner will be shown.
Volume bar
Select whether or not you want the volume bar to appear on the screen when you
change the volume.
Volume bar time-out
Select how long the volume bar will be visible on the screen.
Subtitles
Select whether or not subtitles (if available) will be visible on the screen.
In case you want to control the Teletext function with your TV remote control, the
subtitle parameter must be set to "Invisible".
Main subtitle language
Select the preferred language for subtitling and event info. If the selected language
is not available, no subtitling will be shown but the first available language for event
info is selected.
Main audio language
Select the preferred language for audio. If this language is not available, the first
available language is selected.
Menu language
Here you may select in which language the menus will be shown .
Channel list icons
In order to make the bookmark lists for TV and Radio channels shorter, you can
select to hide the icons and olny show the channel names. See figure to the right.
