START/STOp Switch the start/stop switch on the Model g0513/ g0514 is located on the column for easy access (figures 35). immediately turn the machine OFF if there is a safety hazard. figure 35. g0513 start/stop switch. -28- Guide post the guide post, shown in figure 36, connects the upper blade guide assembly to the bandsaw.
When you are satisfied with the blade adjust- ment, tighten the lock lever so the knob can- not move. Model g0513/g0514 (Mfg. since 8/02+) Table Tilt personal injury or death can occur if the bandsaw starts during table adjust- ment.

Model g0513 is designed for blades that are 131 and the Model g0514 is designed for blades that are 143" long. refer to page 36 for blade replace- ments.
Blade breakage is also due to avoidable circum- stances. avoidable breakage is most often the result of poor care or judgement on the part of the operator when mounting or adjusting the blade or support guides. Model g0513/g0514 (Mfg. 8/02+)
BandsaW FroM poWer! release the blade tension by turning the blade tension quick release lever to the left. Model g0513/g0514 (Mfg. since 8/02+) remove the table insert and the table pin. adjust the upper and lower guide bearings as far away as possible from the blade.
Clean/vacuum dust buildup from inside cabi- net and off motor. -38- cleaning Cleaning the Model g0513/g0514 is relatively easy. vacuum excess wood chips and sawdust, and wipe off the remaining dust with a dry cloth. if any resin has built up, use a resin dissolving cleaner to remove it.
Most of the bearings on this bandsaw are sealed and permanently lubricated and require no lubri- cation. the bearings are standard sizes and can be purchased from the grizzly parts department when they need to be replaced. the oil lite bearings require cleaning and relubri- cating after every 8 hours of continuous use.
6. replace/reset fuse or circuit breaker. repair possible short or circuit overload. 7. replace switch. 8. test/replace if at fault. 9. adjust/replace centrifugal switch. 10. test for shorted windings or bad bearings; repair or replace. 1. Cut halfway through the board on the line by pushing it into the blade. turn the bandsaw OFF and wait for the blade to stop. Model g0513/g0514 (Mfg. since 8/02+) Clamp the board to the bandsaw table with- out moving it. now slide the fence over to the board so it barely touches one end of the board.
