In the Alarms screen, click PTZ Rules to display the PTZ Rules screen, as shown in
the figure below.
Select a camera, and then click one or more of following PTZ linkages: Preset,
Preset tour, Enable Cruise (shadow tour). When an option is enabled, enter the
number for the PTZ preset to be used. See "PTZ settings" on page 76 for more
information on defining PTZ presets.
Note:
Make sure that the PTZ you are using can support preset, preset tour, and
shadow tour functions. An external alarm input can trigger a camera's PTZ
linkage.
9. Click Confirm to save and return to the Alarms screen.
10. To copy the alarm input parameters to another alarm input, select the new alarm
input from the Copy to Alarm In list box, and then click Copy.
11. Click Confirm on the Alarms screen to save your changes and return to the main
menu.
To set up an alarm relay output:
1. Select an alarm output in the Alarm Out box.
2. Select the alarm output duration.
The alarm output duration is the length of time that an alarm output displays
before stopping. Options include: 5, 10, and 30 seconds, 1,2, 5, and 10 minutes,
and Manual Stop. Manual Stop indicates the alarm output will not stop until you
specify Stop in the Alarm Output option on the Utilities screen. See
"Acknowledging an alarm" on page 86 for more information.
3. Define an alarm out schedule.
Click Alarm Out Time Schedule on the Alarms screen to enter the AlarmOut
schedule as shown in the figure below. Select the day of the week and under
