Additional Safety Instructions for Nailers HAND INJURIES: Do not place your hands near the nail point of entry. A nail can deflect and tear through the surface of the workpiece, puncturing your hand or fingers. COMBUSTIBLE GASES: Never connect the nailer to pressur- ized oxygen or other combustible gases as a power source.

Save the containers and all packing mate- rials for possible inspection by the car- rier or its agent.
Compressed Air System Model H7943/H7944 is designed to be operated at 70–120 PSI using clean, dry, regulated, compressed air. DO NOT exceed the 120 PSI maximum operat- ing pressure for your model. Before using your new nailer, set the air pressure on your regulator to the mini- mum PSI for your model.

Unloading Nail Strips To remove unused nails: 1. DISCONNECT NAILER FROM THE AIR SUPPLY! 2. Point the nailer away from you. 3. Pull the pusher back from the nails, then press the pusher lock down as shown in Figure 6. Figure 6.
Using the Nailer If you have not read the safety instruc- tions in this manual, do not operate the nailer. When using pneumatic nailers, be aware of the causes and dangers of nail deflec- tion. Deflection is caused when grain irregu- larities, knots or foreign objects inside the wood cause the nail to change its path, resulting in the nail puncturing the surface...
Adjusting Depth A depth adjustment device is attached to the nose for setting the nail depth. To adjust the depth: 1. DISCONNECT NAILER FROM THE AIR SUPPLY AND POINT THE NAILER IN A SAFE DIRECTION! 2. Use a hex wrench to loosen the cap screw on the depth adjustment device (Figure 10).
Pistons/O-Rings If you need to replace piston parts in your nailer, you can purchase a piston repair kit from Grizzly. The Piston Repair Kit part number for Model H7943 is PH7943087. The Piston Repair Kit part number for Model H7944 is PH7944087.
H7943 /H7944 Framing Nailer Lubricating Special pneumatic tool oil has been included with your new Grizzly nailer to help maintain its useful life. Place two to six drops of oil in the nailer air inlet (as shown in Figure 12) every 2 hours of continuous use.
