Opening the Extension For Several Calls
To open an extension for some calls, do the following:
1.
Press #73*.
Note: U.S. and Canada, press #71*.
2.
Enter the authorization code, press # and
Wait for a verification tone.
3.
Press
to finish the procedure.
Locking the Extension
To lock an extension, do the following:
1.
Press *73*.
Note: U.S. and Canada, press *71*.
2.
Enter the authorization code, press # and
Wait for a verification tone.
3.
Press
to finish the procedure.

Individual Authorization Code

If you are assigned to use an individual authorization code (1 to 7 digits,
assigned to your own extension), you can lock your own extension to a
common authority level when, for example, you are out of the office. You
can also change temporarily any other phone used within the exchange
to the same authority level as you have on your own phone. The indi-
vidual code can be changed from your own extension.
Locking the Phone
To lock your phone, do the following:
1.
Press *76*.
2.
Enter the authorization code, press # and
Wait for a verification tone.
3.
Press
to finish the procedure.
