Storing names and numbers

1. Press Names, scroll to

2. Key in the name; press a number key

most common punctuation marks and
special characters are available under the

number key are not printed on the key.
The characters available under a number
key depend on the language selected in
the menu 4-4-1.
Tip: When entering names in the
phone book, the phone uses title
case, which automatically writes
the first character of a name in
upper case and the rest of the
word in lower case.

Writing text:
• If the next letter is located on the same
key as the present one, press
(or wait until the cursor appears again)
and then key in the letter.
• To switch between upper case and lower
case, press

• To insert a number, press and hold the key
labelled with the desired number. Number
mode is indicated by
the display. To switch between letters and
numbers, press and hold

brings up a list of special
