Configuration
Set the product in one of the standalone modes to control without a DMX controller.

Never connect a product that is operating in any standalone mode to a DMX string
connected to a DMX controller. Products in standalone mode may transmit DMX
signals that could interfere with the DMX signals from the controller.

Master/Slave The Master/Slave mode allows a single COLORrail™ IRC IP unit (the "master") to control
the actions of one or more COLORrail™ IRC IP units (the "slaves") without the need of a

DMX controller. The master unit will be set to operate in any standalone mode, while the
slave units will be set to operate in Slave Mode. Once set and connected, the slave units will
operate in unison with the master unit.

Infrared Control

The COLORrail™ IRC IP is fully compatible with the Infrared Remote Control from
CHAUVET® (sold separately). To enable the IRC, follow the instructions below:

Connect the product to a suitable power outlet.
Turn the product on.
Press <MENU> repeatedly until AUR shows on the display.
Press <ENTER>.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to choose between programming levels.
a. To adjust the number of loops in the program, press <MENU> until n__ shows,
press <ENTER>, then <UP> or <DOWN> to adjust the loop numbers (01-99, FL).
b. To adjust the run speed in the program, press <MENU> until S.__ shows, press
<ENTER>, then <UP> or <DOWN> to adjust the run speed from slow to fast (01-
99, FL).
c. To adjust the strobe speed in the program, press <MENU> until F.__ shows, press
<ENTER>, then <UP> or <DOWN> to adjust the strobe speed from slow to fast
(01-99, FL).
Press <MENU> repeatedly until P.__ shows on the display.
Press <ENTER>.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to choose between auto programs (P.01-P.22).
Press <ENTER>.
Press <MENU> repeatedly until SLA shows on the display.
Press <ENTER> to accept.
Set the DMX address to 001.
Connect the DMX input of the first slave unit to the DMX output of the master unit.
Connect the DMX input of the subsequent slave units to the DMX output of the previous
slave unit.
Finish setting and connecting all the slave units.
Set the master unit to operate in any standalone mode.
Make the master unit the first unit in the daisy chain.
Configure all the slave units before connecting the master unit to the daisy chain.
Never connect a DMX controller to a DMX string configured for Master/Slave
operation because the controller may interfere with the signals from the master
unit.
Do not connect more than 31 slave units to the master unit.
Press <MENU> repeatedly until ir- shows on the display.
Press <ENTER>.
