Pre-set Workouts
Cardio Challenge: Similar to Speed Ramp Up, except both speed and incline change
throughout the workout.
Sports Training: Similar to Speed Intervals, but with varying speed changes throughout
the workout.
Manual Workout: Similar to Quick Start, workout where all aspects of the workout -
workout time, distance, speed and incline- are decided by the user.
HRC (Heart Rate Control) Workouts:
Target HRC 1-5: pick a target heart rate and exercise for an amount of time you
select.
Cruise Control: while in any workout, set your current heart rate as your target heart rate
by pressing a single key.
Custom Interval HRC: User determines WORK heart rate and treadmill reduces REST
portion of each interval to 65% of speed and incline
Distance-Based HRC: set a target heart rate and select one of four distances, just like
running a road course. (2 miles, 4 miles, 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers)
RxHRC:
Creates a 21- to 24-week training program with a progressive increase in workout intensity
and duration. This program is based on a few simple parameters from you, the user, including: age,
resting heart rate, current activity level, and fitness goal. RxHRC workouts typically range from 15
minutes at the beginning of a training program to 40 minutes by week 21. If you are a new user, you
will be asked a few personal questions: age, resting heart rate, current activity level, and fitness goal.
Advanced Options:
Gerkin Fitness Test: A fitness test used to estimate your VO2 max. This test increases
speed and incline gradually every minute and ends at the point where your heart rate reaches 85%
of the maximum for your age.
User Programs 1-3: A workout where all aspects of the workout -workout time, distance,
speed and incline- are decided by the user then saved to be replayed at a latter time.
Manual Workout: Similar to Quick Start, workout where all aspects of the workout
-workout time, distance, speed and incline- are decided by the user.
