7.3 Internet Sharing

The handset can use USB or Bluetooth to connect to a personal computer or other device
(e.g. a PDA) to act as an external modem. This allows other devices such as a PC or PDA to
access the Internet through the handset's GPRS connection.
To use USB to share an Internet connection, please first make sure the computer has access
to ActiveSync version . version or above to be able to properly use Internet connection
sharing.
To use Bluetooth PAN to share an Internet connection, please verify that the computer's
Bluetooth connection offers Personal Area Networking (PAN) service. If your Bluetooth
management interface does not match the user manual, please ask your computer vendor for
help with its use.
