5.1 Connecting to the Internet

When in the Home screen, select Settings > Data
Connections to access the Data Connections screen.
The settings in this screen enable you to set up Dial-up,
Virtual Private Network (VPN), Proxy, and General Packet
Radio Service (GPRS) connections so you can connect to
the Internet or your corporate network.
With a data con nec tion, you can browse the World Wide
Web, download E-mail, chat using MSN Messenger, or
synchronize wirelessly with the server. Check with your
service provider to see if a data connection has already
been set up for you, and if over-the-air confi guration is
supported.
