5.5 POP3/IMAP4 E-mail Accounts
When the phone is connected to the Internet through GPRS or ActiveSync®, you can connect
to remote POP/IMAP mail servers to send/receive e-mail messages. You must have the
account password for the remote mail servers and obtain the appropriate configuration
information from the server administrator. POP/IMAP mail editing, replying, and forwarding
are the same as for Outlook mails. Please refer to section 5..1 Drafting and Sending E-mail
Messages.
5.5.1 Configuring an E-mail Account
You must set up a POP/IMAP e-mail account in order to send/receive e-mails through a
remote server.

Select New Account

Select Other POP/

IMAP then press the
OK button
Adds a new POP/IMAP mail
account.
Enter <Your name>

Enter your custom user name.
For example: Welly.
