3. If desired, enter a new speed dial in-
dex. For example, enter speed dial
index as 1. This assigns the entry
to the first available line key on the
display,
► OR when editing the contact, press
and hold an unassigned line key.
This will automatically assign the
speed dial index which is required
to assign that line key as a speed
dial for the contact. A confirmation
beep is heard when this happens.
On a default configuration of the phone,
there could be up to five line keys avail-
able for speed dial.
Multiple Lines
SoundPoint ® IP 600/601 SIP can support
up to six lines. Lines can be configured for
