Answering a Call While Playing Back Calls
If you are playing back a file and an incoming call arrive:
The phone will ring.
— If you are listening to the file through the speaker, the ring tone may
be mixed in or overide the file. The file will continue playing.
The usual actions to answer a call are available.
— Lift the handset.

If you are using a digital headset with an answer button or an analog headset with a
electronic switch, use those to answer the incoming call.
If you are listening to the file through the handset, you can still answer the incoming
call:
Press the line key for line of the incoming call.
Hang up the handset, then pick up the handset.
Press the Menu key, then press the Answer soft key.
When you are finished with the incoming call, the idle screen appears on the
graphic display.
Periodically, you may need to restart your phone. The reasons for this include:
Accepting a new configuration
Accepting new software
In the case of problems, it may be possible to restore normal operation of your
phone without restarting. Contact your system administrator before attempting to
restart your phone.
The call lists are automatically cleared when you restart the phone.
Using the Advanced Features of Your SoundPoint IP 650 SIP Phone
or the Exit soft key repeatedly to return to the idle
