The rear shock absorber enables the adjustment of
rebound and compression damping and spring preload.
At the bottom pivot point it is connected to the
swingarm. Swingarm is made from steel and hinges on a
pivot pin passing through the engine. The whole system
gives the bike excellent stability.
Shock absorber hydraulic damping varies with shock
absorber travel.
