11 Blue exhaust smoke (idling)
Possible fault
Oil level too high.
Excessive inclination of engine. Check / Adjust.
Leaking turbo compressor oil
seal.

Lower level.
Check / replace oil seal.
12 Black exhaust smoke (at load)
Possible fault
Faulty turbo compressor.
Insufficient intake air.
Leak in inlet manifold.
Faulty injector / injection
pump.
Incorrect injector timing.
Incorrect valve clearance.
Excessive wear of cylinder /
piston.
Engine overloaded, max. rpm
is not reached.
