Cleaning the outer filter

Baffle Filter, Outer Panel
To thoroughly clean the Baffle filter you will need to remove
the outer panel.
Please follow the steps shown below
Step 1
Remove the oil collection trough.
Support oil trough at each end and pull toward you carefully.
Figure 1 below.
caution
Be very careful to keep the trough level to avoid spilling any
liquid in the trough.
Move oil trough in direction of arrow.
Step 2
Open the glass door panel to the "Service" position
(the last stop location). Figure 2.
Cleaning carbon filter
See page 7 for instruction on filter removal
The carbon filter can be cleaned by hand in warm soapy
water Soak in warm water and some washing up liquid.
After cleaning remove excess water and allow filter to dry on
a flat surface Ensure filter is completely dry before refitting.
NOTE: Cleaning the carbon filter does not re-activate
the odour absorbing properties, but ensures optimum
functioning unit the carbon filter is to be replaced.

Step 3
Unlatch the filter at each side and pull the filter towards you.
Figure 3 below.
Step 4
Disengage the pins, each side, at the bottom corner of the
filter and remove the filter. Figure 4 below.
Replacing the filter is the reverse of the steps shown above.
