Maintenance

Before performing any
maintenance operation,
disconnect the hood from
the electricity.
Grease filter - Fig. 6
This serves to hold the grease particles in sus-
pension. The metal filter should be washed every
month with warm soapy water or, if possible, in
the dishwasher (65°C).
Remove the filter:
Push the spring handle towards the back, then
extract the filter downwards.
Leave to dry before refitting it.
Carbon filter - Fig. 7
This filter dissolves cooking odours.
It should be changed every 6-8 months in normal
use. Ask the technical assistance service or
manufacturing company for a new one.
The carbon filter must never be washed.
Mounting and dismounting of the carbon
filter:
a. Disconnect the hood from the electricity.
b. Remove the grease filter.
c. To install the filters, place one filter on each
side so that they cover the grates protecting
the rotor on the motor. Then turn the center
handle for the filters in the clockwise direction.
d. To dismount the carbon filters (covering the
grates protecting the rotor on the motor) for
replacement, turn the central handle in the
counter-clockwise direction until the filters are
unlocked.
e. Remove the grease filter.

Attention

Failure to observe the rules for cleaning the
appliance and changing and cleaning the filters
may cause fires. Therefore, we recommend
observing these instructions.

Cleaning

To clean the outside of the hood use a cloth
moistened with denatured alcohol or neutral liquid
