Message alerts
Your Quartet 2015 features an audible Message
Alert function for new incoming messages.
When the message alert function is switched on,
the handset will beep every 10 seconds to let
you know you have new messages.
Even if the message alert function is switched
off, you can still see if you have new messages
as a visual alert symbol
display. If this symbol does not flash you have
messages stored, but no new messages.
A red light on the top left side of the handset will
also flash if new messages have been received.

Remote access

You can operate your answering machine from
any other external phone, providing it is
a Touchtone™ phone. To do this you need a
security code to prevent unauthorised access.
The default setting is 000.
Your code authorises you to access your
messages from any Touchtone™ phone.
This feature can be turned on or off.

Call screening

Call Screening enables you to listen to incoming
calls while they are being recorded, without the
caller knowing. You can then choose to take the
call or allow the caller to finish the message.
