Deactivating the child safety device
– Press Recipes
until CHILD SAFETY goes out in the display.
The child safety device is now deactivated and the oven is again ready for
use.

Button Lock

To ensure that oven functions set are not accidentally altered.
Switching on the Button Lock
1. If necessary, switch on the appliance using the On/Off
2. Select oven function.
3. Press Recipes
check C buttons at the same time until
LOCK appears in the display.
The button lock is in operation.
Switching off the Button Lock
– Press Recipes
about 2 seconds.
The button lock is automatically released, if the appliance is switched off.

The oven's safety cut-out function

The oven automatically switches itself off if it is not switched off after a cer-
tain period of time or if the temperature is not adjusted.
The last temperature to have been set flashes in the temperature display
and a signal sounds.
The oven switches itself off at a temperature of:

- 250 °C
250
- 280 °C
Operating the oven following the safety cut-out
Switch the oven off completely.
After this has been done, the oven can be operated again.
