that this Phonak product meets the require-
ments of directive 93/42/EEC on medical
devices and the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC
on Radio and Telecommunication Terminal
Equipment. The alert sign means that potential
restrictions on its use are applicable in one or
more EU countries.
