Certain terminals and computers require an
intercharacter delay to simulate the effects of
keystroke delays. Selecting an intercharacter delay
causes the characters to be sent at the slower rate
required by the device to which you are interfacing.
Scanning label GA disables intercharacter delay.
GA
To set Intercharacter Delay to a value other than zero,
scan label GB, then two separate digits from
Appendix B. The intercharacter delay cannot
exceed 31 milliseconds.
GB
For example, to set the delay to 15 milliseconds, scan
the GB label, then scan codes 1 and 5 in Appendix B.
