    How To Use The Nortel Telephone MAKING A CALL: Lift the handset, or press the [Extension Line] key or press the [Handsfree] key, or If a headset is connected, press the [Headset] key. Internal Calling Dial the 4 digit extension.
  • Page 6 TRANSFER: Press the {Trans} soft key; the caller is placed on hold. Dial the extension number, and you will hear ringing. You can announce the call then press the {Trans} soft key or immediately press the {Trans} soft key to complete Note: If no answer press {Cancel} or Press the [Extension Line] key to return to your original call.

    To Forward to Another Extension: With the phone idle, press the {Fwd} soft key. Dial the extension number you want to send your calls to. Press the {Fwd} soft key again. CFWD will now display. LAST CALLER DIAL: When the telephone is idle, press the {Caller} soft key and then use the navigation arrow keys to select the number to call.

    DIRECTORIES Four Directories are provided: Corporate – College Directory Personal – Off campus telephone numbers Callers List Redial List To select a directory Press the [Directory] key Scroll down the list and press the {Select} soft key to select a directory Use the soft keys to place calls or edit the directory (Corporate Directory cannot be edited)
