Remove the waste ink box from the printer unit and set a new waste
ink box to the printer unit.

No Press the [VALUE+] key or the [VALUE-] key to select "Yes." Press
the [ENTER] key to confirm.
Step 20
The ink system is now renewed and ready to use another type of ink.
The Initial fill is executed when installing ink cartridges.
Note: The cleaning cassettes are one time use only.
Step 1
Press the [MENU] key to enter the MENU MODE operation.
Step 2
Bring up the "Utility" menu by pressing the [Menu Up !] key or the
[Menu Down "] key.
Step 3
Press the [ENTER] key to confirm the "Utility" menu and shift to the
next level.
Step 4
Bring up the "Head Wash" item by pressing the [Menu Up !] Key or
the [Menu Down "] Key.
Step 5
Press the [VALUE+] key or the [VALUE-] key to select "Yes." Press
the [ENTER] key to confirm "Head Wash Yes" and shift to the next
menu.
Step 6
Remove the waste ink box from the printer unit and set a new waste
ink box to the printer unit.
Step 7
No Press the [VALUE+] key or the [VALUE-] key to select "Yes."
Step 8
Yes Press the [ENTER] key to confirm "Yes."
Step 9
Remove all ink cassettes from their slots.
Step 10
Insert a cleaning cassette into each slot.
The cleaning starts when all cleaning cassettes are inserted. The
cleaning period is about 20 minutes.
