or watching, simply press the MUTE button. You'll see an

EFFECT - Reverb and Equalization Effects
EFFECT
2
Use the EFFECT button to access a wide variety of
Equalization or Reverberation effects, depending on what type
of disc is inserted. Reverb effects are meant to duplicate the
natural "reverberation" of sound that is produced in a large
structure, such as a cave or arena, giving you the effect that
you're listening to your music in different venues. Equalization
settings change the Bass, Treble and Midrange frequency mix
of the sound.
When used with Audio CDs, VCDs or DVDs without surround
sound, the EFFECTS key cycles between several Reverb
effects, including CONCERT, LIVING ROOM, HALL,
BATHROOM, CAVE, ARENA and CHURCH. Used with DVDs
recorded with Surround Sound, the EFFECT button activates
several Equalization effects, including Rock, Pop, Live, Dance,
Techno, Classic and Soft. To turn effects OFF, simply press
the EFFECTS button until the word OFF appears on screen.

Left/Right, Mix Mono and Stereo.
