Getting started

Installation options

You can install your telephone either for tabletop or wall use. Follow the
instructions below to install your telephone as desired.

Wall installation

Your telephone base is ready for tabletop use. If you want to mount your
telephone on a wall, use the provided wall mount bracket to connect with a
standard dual-stud telephone wall mounting plate. If you do not have this
mounting plate, you can purchase one from many hardware or consumer
electronic retailers. You might need a professional to install the mounting plate.
Make sure the other end of the telephone line cord is unplugged from the
telephone wall jack. Follow the instructions below to install your telephone on
the wall:
1. Lift the handset and place it aside.
On the telephone base, press and
slide the handset cradle tab upwards
until it is out of the slot. Rotate the
tab so that the end with the hook is
up, and then insert the tab back into
its slot until it clicks into place.

2. Hold the telephone base with
both hands and with the bottom
of the telephone facing towards
you. Then slide the telephone
bracket upwards until it
detaches from the base.
