NFS Setup on Computers Running Linux and UNIX Operating Systems
Note: You must be root on the machine.
1 On the local machine, create a directory where you want to mount the share.
[root@machine_name /]# cd /
[root@machine_name /]# mkdir /JS100
2 Mount the share.
[root@machine_name /]# mount -t nfs 10.19.67.9:/shares/BigPool/BigShareJS100
The following information is displayed when the share is ready to use:
[root@machine_name /]# ls
/JS100fellowshipofthering_320x176.mpegking_arthur_320x144.mpeg
shrek2_320x176.mpegi_robot_320x176.mpegpearl_harbor.mpeg
