The steps required to unmount your HybridDrive depends
on whether or not you activated the Nomad Mobile Desktop.
How to Unmount the Drive if Nomad is Activated
1. If the Nomad Mobile Desktop is not on screen, click the
Nomad icon in the Taskbar.
. Click the Eject button on the Mobile Desktop. You will see a
message telling you it is safe to remove the device.
. You can then safely turn off and/or disconnect the Drive.
How to Unmount the Drive if Nomad is Not Activated
1. In the Taskbar, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon (the
icon with the green arrow). A pop-up message will appear
with a list of devices connected to your computer.
. Select the HybridDrive. (It will be listed as "USB Mass Storage
Device" with two drive letters—one for the CD partition, and
one for the HD partition.)
After a few seconds both partitions will unmount and
Windows will give you a message that it is safe to remove the
device.
. Click OK. You can then safely turn off and/or disconnect the
Drive.
