File/Folder settings

File menu

Perform file management operations. You can check file information,
change file names, and delete, copy and move files.
n Displaying the File Menu (Preparation)

While the DN-F650R is stopped, press
The file list is displayed.
PLAY/PAUSE
• Press
while the file list is displayed to playback the
selected file.
• To display the folder list, select the folder name displayed at the top,
and press the jog dial.

Rotate the jog dial to select the file to operate, and
press the jog dial.
The file menu is displayed.
STOP
• Press
when the file menu is displayed to return to the
stopped state.

File information (01 Information)

The selected file information is displayed.

Rotate the jog dial to select "01 Information", and
press the jog dial.
File information is displayed.
• Press the jog dial to return to the file menu.
STOP
• Press
to return to the stopped state.

Explanation
File information is displayed.
Changes the file name
Deletes a file.
Copies the file to a different folder.
Moves a file from a the current folder into
a different folder.
Deletes all marks from the selected file.

Renaming files (02 Rename)

Renames the selected file name.

Select "02 Rename" in the folder list menu, and
rotate the jog dial.
The rename menu is displayed.

Change the file name.
The method for renaming the file is the same as "Renaming
presets" (vpage 13).

Press the jog dial to save the changes.
To return to the previous screen without saving the changes,
MARK
press
.
• If a space is entered as the first or last character in the file name, the
space is deleted when the file name is saved.
• No more than 255 characters can be added for the file name.
