What You Need to Do
Make sure you do the following before proceeding to the web configurator aspect
of this tutorial.
Have the correct configuration for the switch and router on your network as

illustrated in the previous figure. Refer to the User's Guide of your switch or router
if needed or contact your service provider for help.
Refer to your Quick Start Guide to set up the ZyXEL Device for VoIP, IPTV and web

services.
Make sure you have the correct account information from your service provider,

such as VLAN ID and 802.1P tag assignments.

3.2.1 Egress Queue Setup

For this section, you will configure four (4) egress queues for VoIP, data (IPTV and
web services) and management traffic.
Click Network > WAN > Internet Connection. By the default, you should see 4

queues in the Egress Queue Information table. Click Modify to open the
following screen.
Enter the following values for each of the queue and click Apply:

Shaping Rate

FSG2200HNU User's Guide
This queue is for VoIP. The bandwidth required for
voice packets is around 88 kbps. Setting this to 128
kbps gives room for jitter and latency.
SP (Strictly Priority) / Highest

This queue is dedicated to remote management,
which enables the service provider to configure the
ZyXEL Device without physically being in the site.
