PROGRAMMING THE 24-HOUR CLOCK
Use
button to select the 24hr Clock setting function. The 2-digit Hours portion
of the display and the
icon will be flashing. (the default value in the display will
be the last time of day displayed). If the displayed value, including AM/PM is
desired, press
to confirm and set. To change the value, each pressing of the
and
buttons will adjust the hour setting and alternate between the
display of AM or PM at each passing of 12:00. Press the
button to confirm and
set the displayed hour.
The 2-digit Minutes portion of the display and the
icon will be flashing (the
default value in the display will be the last time of day displayed). If the displayed
value is desired, press
to confirm and set. To change the value, each pressing
of the
and
buttons will adjust the minute setting. Press the
button
to confirm and set the displayed minutes.
The time of day will be displayed with the colon (:) between hours and minutes,
flashing to indicate the control is not in programming function and the
icon will go off.
LCD-BACK-LIGHT SETTING FUNCTION
The default setting is Auto-off. The blue backlight display will turn off after
approximately one minute if the unit is not performing a function. The display can be
set to "always on" by pressing the up arrow and the down arrow at the same time for
approximately five seconds. The unit will beep to confirm the setting has changed.
Performing this function again when always on is set, will change the display back to
Auto-off.

MANUAL: If Auto-on is set, manual brewing by pressing the
button
automatically cancels the Auto-On, the
icon goes off, and the unit immediately
begins brewing.
AUTO: When the control has been set to Auto-brew, the unit will begin brewing at
the preset time and the
button will light up. While brewing, the Auto display will
be flashing. The display will go off upon completion of the brew cycle. If the
button is pressed at any time while drip coffee is brewing and the
button is lit,
the brewing cycle is cancelled and the
button will go out. The unit will
automatically go into keep warm on completion of brewing and will terminate after
the preset number of keep warm hours.
Drip coffee can be made at the same time as the Espresso cycle if desired.
