Before a Clean Cycle
_4'e recommend xenting your kitchen
with an oi)en window
or using,

ventilation tim or hood durii_g the
fi_t sel6clean cycle.
Remoxe any broiler pan, broiler grid,
probe, all cookware and any ahmfinum
fifil from tile oxen.
NOTE:
If your oven is equipped with shiny,
silve>colored oven rack% remove them
betore you begin tile sel6clean cycle.
If your oven is equipped with gray
porcelain-coamd oven rac]<% tile)'

Soil on tile fl'ont fl'alne of tile range and
outside tile gasket on tile door will need
to be cleaned bv hand. Clean these areas
with hot water; soap-filled steel-wool pads
or cleanse_ such as Soft Scrub _Rinse
well with clean water and dry.
Do not clean tile gasket. Tile fibelglass
material ot the oven door gasket cmmot
withstand abrasion. It is essential t0r the
gasket to remain intact. If you notice it
becoming worn or fl'ayed, replace it.
Wipe up any hea\y spillovei_ on tile
()x'eli bottoI/l.
Make sure tile oven light bulb cover is
in place and the oven light is off.
IMPORTANT. The health ot some birds
is extremely sensitive to the flmms given
off durh_g tile self cleaning cycle of any
range. Move birds to another well-
ventilated room.
How to Set the Upper/Lower Oven for Cleaning
The oven doors must be closed and all
controls set correctly for the cycle to work
properly.

once for a 5-hour clean time or
twice flw a 3-hour clean dine.
A 3-hour sell=clean dine is

clean cycle and tmget to close the

To stop a clean cycle, touch tile
CLEAR/OFFpad. When LOCKEDgoes off,
indicating the ovens have cooled below
tile locking temperature, you will be
able to open tile (looi_.
Ym can set a clean cycle in both ovens
at the same time; howe\'eI; thev will not
sel6clean at the same time. The last oven
set will automatically delay its start tmtil
the end of the filSt oven's clean cycle.
Tile upper and lower oven (looi_
lock automatically. Tile cooktop elelnents
are also locked out durh_g sel6clean.
Tile display will show tile clean time
renmilfing. It will not be possible to
\._]/en an oven is set to sel6clean, both
oven doms will lock and the cooktop
controls will lock out. The ovens and
cooktop
cannot be
used when
an
oven is set to sel6clean.
