AIR CLEANER

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page
The air cleaner should be serviced at
regular intervals (page
frequently when riding in unusually wet or
dusty areas.
1. Remove the air cleaner case cover ( ) by
removing the screws ( ).
2. Remove the air cleaner element ( ) by
pushing the tabs ( ). 4
3. Install the new air cleaner element. Make
sure the air cleaner element is fixed.
Use the Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or an equivalent air cleaner
element specified for your model. Using
the wrong Honda air cleaner element or a
non-Honda air cleaner element which is
not of equivalent quality may cause
premature engine wear or performance
problems.
4. Install the removed parts in reverse order
of removal.
