Air cleaner
clean ing
When the
air cleaner
is clogged
with dirt,
ai
r
is not taken in freely, sufficient
engine
power
cannot
be
obtained
and
acceleration
is
faulty.
Clean the
air cleaner periodically.
1.
Remove
air cleaner case.
2.
Unscrew
air
cleaner cover
setting
bolt and
then remove the air c leaner
cover
.
3.
Unscrew the 6
mm
hex
bolt, loosen
the ai
r
cleaner connectin
g
tube set ting screw and remov
e
the
air cleaner element.

4.
Top the element to
loosen
the dust and then
apply
dry
compressed air
from
the
inside
to
remove the dust.
