Fine tuning of each speaker type
¶ While the EXPERT SPEAKER SETTING display is
shown after completing the basic speaker settings
Tuning the center speaker
1
Move
to [LEVEL] of [C.SPK] using
CURSOR 5/∞/2/3 and press ENTER.

Adjust the output level of the center speaker
using CURSOR 2/3.
You can adjust the level
between –6 dB and +6
dB in 1 dB steps.

Press ENTER.
The output level of the center speaker is set.

Move
to [DELAY] of [C.SPK] using
CURSOR 2/3 and press ENTER.

Adjust the delay time of the center speaker
using CURSOR 2/3.
You can adjust the
delay time between 0
ms (no delay) and –5
ms in 1 ms steps.
6
Press ENTER.
The delay time of the center speaker is set.
7
Repeat the steps 1 through 6 until you are
satisfied.
Tuning the rear speakers

Move
to [LEVEL] of [R.SPK] using
CURSOR 5/∞/2/3 and press ENTER.

Adjust the output level of the rear speakers
using CURSOR 2/3.
You can adjust the level
between –6 dB and +6
dB in 1 dB steps.

CURSOR 5/∞/2/3 and press ENTER.

Adjust the output level of the sub-woofer
using CURSOR 2/3.
You can adjust the level
between –6 dB and
+6 dB in 1 dB steps.

Press ENTER.
The output level of the sub-woofer is set.

Repeat the steps 1 through 3 until you are
satisfied.
NOTES
• Depending on setting conditions, some items may not
be set manually. See page 47 for details.
• You cannot set the level and delay for front speakers.
• You cannot set the delay for a sub-woofer.
