WATCHING IMAGES
Specifying the number of screens to
display
When a number of cameras are connected to the digital
video recorder, it is possible to monitor video from several
of these in multi-screen format. Use the following
procedures to specify the channel numbers for the
cameras to be displayed and the number of screens.

[MULTI-
VIEW]
Viewing on a full screen
Click a [CHANNEL].
Click the button for the camera to be monitored. The video
from the specified channel will be displayed on the full
screen, and the corresponding number will be displayed in
the "CHANNEL" box.
Viewing on a quad screen
Click the [QUAD].
Video from all recording and recorded cameras will be
displayed on a quad screen. Press the [QUAD] button
again to switch to quad screen display.
Viewing on a multi 9 or 16 screen
Click the [MULTIVIEW].
Video from all recording and recorded cameras will be
displayed on a screen divided into nine or sixteen
individual portions. Press the [MULTIVIEW] again to
change the DSR-3716P from 9 screens to 16 screens.
The DSR-3709P can only display video in 9 screens.
To resume full screen monitoring
Either click a [CHANNEL] button or one of the multiple
screens being displayed to resume full screen monitoring.
Each screen of the 4/9/16 screen display will be
updated at a speed appropriate for its channel. Update
speed will differ depending upon Network conditions.
While in 4/9/16 screen display, audio is unavailable.

Performing operations in play mode

Playback
Click the

Adjusting the playback speed
During playback, click the
button.
: Increases the playback speed.
: Reduces the playback speed.
Reverse playback
Click the
button.
Adjusting the reverse playback speed
During reverse playback, click the
button.
: Increases the reverse playback speed.
: Reduces the reverse playback speed.
Still image
During playback, click the
Playback will be paused on the current image.
To return to normal play mode, click the
playback is paused.
Frame advance (forward/reverse)
While playback is paused, click the
button.
: Advances a frame in the forward direction.
: Advances a frame in the reverse direction.
Alarm skip
During playback, click the
button.
The previous or next alarm image is displayed accordingly.
: Skips to the next alarm video.
: Skips to the previous alarm video.
Stopping playback
During playback, press the
